Description
Item notes : Wachsmann's original recording no.: 50.482. Performer notes : The royal Nsegu players; Bagyendanwa was the name of the royal drum, the most important item in the King's regalia so the name also stood for the king; the drum is struck with two light beaters.

This is not nsegu music but the men's dance known as ekitaaguriro which involved recitation by one man with non-verbal replies from the male dancers ('mmm.' etc. ) and with one flautist playing phrases on a four holed notched flute at intervals during the dancing. Nsegu music involves a team of flutists playing hocket fashion without any dancing. I think your documentation must have become confused.
