Description
Item notes : Wachsmann's original recording no.: 54.564. From available documentation: A characteristic for this dance is the rattling staff 'mayebe' or 'malende' that the dance and song leader holds upright in his hand. It consists of a thin straight stick on which some 20 seed shells are threaded, like beads on a needle. Performer notes : From available documentation: A group of local men and women.
