Item notes : Wachsmann's original recording no.: 54.170. English translation of lyrics from available documentation: "We are sorry for our Lango people who have been taken into Acoli district" - commemorating a much resented transfer of some Lango villages in the North to Acoli in [?] 1918. Performer notes : From available documentation: the group are from Ngai. The names of the drums are: Min Bul, Adadang, Alob, Alob Adadang Madek, Akele, Atine, Atimo (single skin drum, held hobby horse fashion). Onyang, Jago E is the leader of the group.
