Description
This is a collection of musical recordings from various sources, which were used by David Rycroft in a lecture entitled: 'Dark Music'. This is a revised edition made in 1971. However it is clearly related to the paper he published in 1962-3 with a similar title ('Dark Music: Ethnomusicology and its application in Africa', Memoirs', and Proceedings of the Manchester Literary and Philosophic Society, Volume 105, pp. 105).
