Description
This is a recording of a solo guitar performance of the Masanga improvisation. This recording is taken from a tape in Rycroft's collection labelled 'Guitar Talk Tape B'. In his notes, Rycroft labels this recording 'Andrew plays Masanga' (1958). It is likely that he is referring to the South African musicologist, Andrew Tracey.
