Description
Rycroft asks the women what this song is about. They explain that it is an 'Umhlanga' (reed) which indicates that it is a part of the Swazi annual reed festival called Umhlanga, which is held in honour of the Swazi queen mother (indlovukazi). This festival is attended by young Swazi women.
