Description
Mazinyo Mavuso plays a song on the Swazi makhweyane bow. He sings about disappointment in love. The mood of this song is one of sadness and longing. The makhweyane bow provides a haunting accompaniment to this sad song. The staccato pattern is produced by Mazinyo Mavuso dampening the string of the instrument (Rycroft, D., 1969, Zulu, Swazi and Xhosa Instrumental and vocal music. Belgische radio en Televisie: Belgium).
