  • Description

Item note: PCUG97.6.17: A simple piece also recorded with separate hands. PCUG97.6.18: Same as his 1st song. Begun but interrupted by passing traffic. Move to record subsequent items inside FW's bedroom because it was becoming too noisy outside. PCUG97.6.19: Runs on with very little pause between end of previous song. 8-beat cycle. Recording note: Recordings were made with a Sony DAT Walkman model TCD - D8 (kindly loaned by the School of Scottish Studies) machine and a matching single point stereo microphone (Sony ECM 959A which PC purchased shortly before his visit began). Recordist's note: NB. in Peter Cooke's notes this is: PCUG97.6.17 [ends 3'30"] / PCUG97.6.18 / PCUG97.6.19. Performer's note: Peter Awio (displaced person living in Lira).
