Item note: Enswezi. Performance note: Performed on edge of Maganda's compound. Four drums (+ engalabi), rattles, much ululation. Drumming sounds rather kiganda in style. Preceeded by some spoken calls to others from one of the women. But man sings solo part. Performer's note: James Maganda and Baswezi friends. Recording note: Recorded at 7+ips with Stellavox and Sennheiser Mics in stereo whole track. Recorded to accompany video recording. Recordist's note: In Peter Cooke's notes, this is PCUG88.4.1.
