African Harmony: *The use of pentatonic scalar source for the harmonies generated suggest that while inspired by western hyrmnals this song is by and large traditional in style. *The composer here makes use of the span process and parallel dyads. This song has a lead line singing in unison, while the responding chorus sings in parallel 4ths, 5ths, and uses the 'isolated 3rd' which gehard kubik refers to as being the result of the span process.
