    Item note: Amakondere horn band song (otherwise called engwara) song. Analytical recording. Performance note: With five or more amakondere composite wood / gourd horns. Performer's note: Members Nyoro trumpet band from Heartbeat of Africa (probably also former royal trumpet band). This group still functions despite the deposition of their omukama under the auspices Ministry of Culture and Community Development [local sports office]. Recording note: Recorded while awaiting arrival of party rally parade. Recordist's note: In Peter Cooke's notes, this is PCUG1964-8.32.B1.
