  • Description

Suura koma trumpet duet performed by Mr. Gatgano and Mr. Dingama. Both artists belong to the Sora tribe and speak the Austro-Asiatic language Sora. These C-shaped trumpets are usually part of the ritual ensemble exclusively reserved for celebrations and festivals related to the Sora ancestor worship. For the Sora, death is a gradual process (it is believed that the deceased continue to live and finally die in another world). The development of a new personality seems to be an equally slow process.
