[The Mountain People of Northern Colombia (from the area known as the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta), as documented in the articles in "Recorded Sound" (1968, nos. 29-32, open access in Humanities 2: HUS050), fall into 3 distinct groups; the Kogi [alternate name for Cogui] of the northern Sierra, the Sáha [Malayo] in the east, and the largest group, the Ika [alternate name for Ica] living on the southern Sierra.]
