  • Description

Boenyana Mashabalewa with segorogoro mouthbow accompaniment. There are no words, but Boenyana summarised the song by saying My decision is now to leave that place (Mabeleapudi) and go somewhere else. Boenyana was previously recorded by me in 1985. He is a Motswana, born in Mabeleapudi near Serowe in 1944. He used to be a herdboy and played the segorogoro as he watched the cattle grazing.
