African Harmony: *homophonic parallelism is the primary means of voice movement. *the choruses alternates between parallel 3rds and 4ths in this chorus. Afrcian rhythmic structures: *The song uses a 3-2 rumba clave pattern (this is the name given it in Cuba where it is a prominent feature of their music. This is not nessesarily the name used by the Yoruba in Nigeria.)
