African harmony: *The chorus uses a combination of parallel 3rds, 6ths and octaves. *The guitar plays a harmonized ostinato. At times the musician will play the melody in octaves. Guitar pattern is fient difficult to hear exact harmonies) *Flute plays in heterophony with the chorus and in counter point to the lead vocalist. Flutist plays broken parallel dyads and parallel arpgios in this recording in addition to improvised variations
