African Harmony *chorus line uses homophpnoc parallelism and parallel dyads *guitar uses Inversions of the I-V chords as an ostinato vamp. 1st inversion V to root position I chords as known in traditional european musical theory. In African discourse this would be the use of parallel thirds with an upper pedal note.
