  • Abstract

Wouldn’t grind peas or beans because the stones needed to be cleaned after 30 minutes. Stone dressing. The grooves needed in the stone. Mill was part of the estate. Other mills. Nearly all the mill kit gone. 110 acres on the farm, originally only had 30 acres. Mainly a grass farm, little arable.
