Item notes: Sound effects recorded in Brixton Market, in particularly at the stall of Bob Keightley (stall holder and singer). Recorded for the film "The Boldon Lad: aspects of traditional music in working class Britain", directed by John Tchalenko (1980). Sound effects include conversations between customers and stall holders, train passing, aeroplane pasing.. Includes announcements of slate and take numbers with clapperboard. Recording notes: Recorded with 50Hz crystal neopilot track (not audible on playback copy).
