Bake India I No.16 (i.e. recorded on field trip of 1931). 1. Unacc. male solo. 2. Ref. tone. "Tum paṛho re tota". A Mahad song, sung by Pinakin Keshavlal Trivedi, a nineteen year old male from Vada (Gujarat) belonging to the Brahmin caste who studied at Tagore's Visva-Bharati University in Santiniketan at that time. The song was taught to Pinakin Keshavlal Trivedi by a guru from Pushkar named Brahmananda.
