Abstract
Father and son Eddie and Tom are politically very different. In this conversation Eddie is verbally sparring with his son about jobs, the economy, strikes, wages, tax and the future. Their conversation is a jocular argument of right against left. The final part of the conversation shows just how fond Eddie is of his son and how proud he is that Tom has taken an opposite view.
Description
The Listening Project conversations collectively form a picture of our lives and relationships today. Recordings were made by BBC producers of people sharing an intimate conversation, lasting up to an hour and on a topic of the speakers' choice.
