  • Abstract

Hannah McKeand is a polar explorer and adventurer. She was the fastest person to reach the South Pole solo on foot, although that record has been beaten, she is still the fastest woman. Here she talks to her best friend Lizzie about her life, her motivation, her atheism and her relationships.

  • Description

The Listening Project conversations collectively form a picture of our lives and relationships today. Recordings were made by BBC producers of people sharing an intimate conversation, lasting up to an hour and on a topic of the speakers' choice.
