Abstract
Part 3: Basils grandson Miles was his age and worked there, Julian ran BSC, his brother ran the bookshop. Worked under Jeff Neill doing orders and then went into second hand, was there for about a 12-15 months. Pat St John was a natural bohemian and had open house, Johnny Weston was a settled traveller, Joe Pereira was a Catalan who would both be there. Joe was a republican refugee, in December 1939 he was interred in a prison camp and got out by volunteering for the French Army; he later joined the British Army and settled. Johnny Weston died 10 years ago. She had a daughter Judith who died young and had a relationship with the poet Don Moraes. He was close to her son Ian
