Abstract
Part 2 of 2. [00:00:00 - 00:10:10]. This recording, from Liss, Hampshire, 1978, begins with a performance of the singing game 'London Bridge is Falling Down' [00:00:00 - 00:07:10]. The children explain in great detail to Iona Opie how this game is played. They remark that when you play this game you must hold hands and the other children 'shake you about'. When asked how this feels, the children reply: 'horrid' [00:10:10 - 00:12:35]. This is followed by a performance of the singing game 'In and Out the Dusty Bluebells' [00:07:12 - 00:10:10].
