Abstract
Part 1 of 1. [00:00:00 - 00:15:15] This recording, made by Graham Stephen in Dundee, 1975, records children from St. Columba's Primary School singing a variety of playground games and songs. The recording is of particularly poor sound quality and therefore many songs are difficult to hear and decipher. Those that can be heard are: 'Cinderella Dressed in Yellow' [00:01:20 - 00:01:34]; 'Down in the Jungle' [00:02:24 - 00:03:20]; 'There's a Rat' [00:03:24 - 00:04:28]; 'Em Pom Pee' [00:04:54 - 00:05:27]; 'Vote, Vote, Vote For 'X' [00:06:15 - 00:06:31]; 'When the War was Over' [00:06:32 - 00:06:57];' I'm a Little Sandy Girl' [00:08:12 - 00:08:29]; 'The Big Ship Sails' [00:08:30 - 00:08:59]; 'Have a Cigarette, Sir' [00:09:00 - 00:09:25]; 'Two Little Dickie Birds' [00:11:13 - 00:11:32]; 'I'm Shirley Temple' [00:12:18 - 00:13:01]; 'I'm a Little Dutch Girl' [00:13:14 - 00:14:30]; 'B.I.N.G.O' [00:14:31 - 00:14:52] and 'I'm a Little Bumper Car; [00:14:53 - 00:15:15].
