Own mother Anglican and wanted BG to be confirmed. Unofficially was called Bernice Millicent Walford Green. Talks about her mother and why step-mother raised her. Talks about sisters and attending church. Mentions father’s drink problem. Father self-employed delivering building materials. Talks about sharing food with neighbours. Lived in concrete house and had more money than most neighbours. Describes the house and garden. Talks about toys and cleaning chores.
