Abstract
Part 6: Ozenfant cont. EG’s respect for AO. PG smartly dressed in childhood photos, thinks this was for the photos and not his usual clothes, details. UB lacked vanity; clothes; make-up. EG always smartly dressed. PG was embarrassed as a schoolboy by EG’s accent. Sequence in film about Willow Road in which PG appears on EG’s shoulders fairly typical of PG’s relationship with his father as a child. Memories of living in Highpoint; PG aged approx 5. Mendelssohn also lived at Highpoint, his daughter would babysit PG. Bungalow designed by Lubetkin in which family lived at Whipsnade. EG and Lubetkin didn’t like one another, details. Maars group. PG doesn’t remember Wells Coates but WC’s daughter is a friend. Le Corbusier. Details of holiday with parents aged 17 when toured north Italy, EG instructing PG; contemporary Italian architecture.
