    Part 6: Walter Bor [WB] Travelled through Austria to Italian border, Gestapo and exit permit. Settled in Genoa, diet of spaghetti, acquired fluency in Italian. Awarded scholarship from Bartlett School of Architecture through efforts of Herbert Lom. Deposit necessary for entry to England collected by Katherine and HL. Arrived in England at Victoria through endless suburbs and met there by HL. Disappointment at drab London architecture.
