Part two - Games (playing environments as soundscapes, by Bruce Davis).- [Original programme notes, R. Murray Schafer: A composition by Bruce Davis, made up of sounds of people in contest. The various episodes are specially chosen, combined and edited to reveal the various playing environments as soundscapes, and as rituals of vocal and verbal exchange. The piece begins with an abstract collage of non-verbal fragments taken from - and fore-shadowing - material which appears in later extended sequences].- Soundscape composition.- A specially composed soundscape by Bruce Davis dealing with the sounds of games and recorded all across Canada by Bruce Davis.
