Description
Recording notes : An extensive marshland carr. Here terrestrial passerines sing, as a Bittern calls. A woodland chorus of Song Thrush, cuckoo, Great tit, Chiffchaff, Blackcap and Woodpigeons contrasts with the stirring of Greylag Geese on the marsh. A Wood Warbler works up a trill, and a Great Spotted Woodpecker drums in the middle distance. All the while the Song Thrush continues indefatigably.
