    Anna describes how she regularly used to cycle twenty miles a day to work or to visit family. Fundenhall (just to the southeast of Ashwellthorpe), Stoke Holy Cross and Swainsthorpe (both to the northeast) are all nearby villages. Norwich is a city to the northeast.
