  • Description

    Arthur relates a number of anecdotes about his father, a joiner, who was very particular about the care of his tools. BSA (Birmingham Small Arms Company) and Royal Enfield (now based in Madras, India) are motorcycle manufacturers. Davenham and Hartford are villages to the southeast of Kingsley. Eaton Hall is an estate near the village of Aldford to the southwest.
