    Albert recalls his schooldays when he was taught by two very different schoolmasters. He recounts a tale of when he got into trouble and was made to stay behind after school had finished. Braythwaite (to the northwest of Hunsonby), Blencoe (to the southwest), Skelton (to the west) and Melmerby (to the northeast) are all nearby villages.
