  • Description

    George talks about the pride he took in his work as a cowman and compares modern farm practices with those of his younger days. Bibby’s cake refers to the product first produced near Lancaster in 1878 when two brothers James and Joseph Bibby began mixing ingredients to produce feed for cattle. J.Bibby Agriculture is now part of Associated British Nutrition (ABN), the agricultural arm of Associated British Foods.
