Speaker's note: Aged 29 from Tramore, County Waterford, Ireland (now Republic of Ireland). Born 17 August 1888 in Tramore. Educated at a Christian Brother school (public school) at Tramore. Lived in Tramore until the age of 20. Has written 'I here'. Both parents from Tramore. Can read and write in English and Irish. Religion: Catholic. Occupation: brick layer. Item note: Edward reads the Parable of the Prodigal Son (taken from Luke chapter XV, verse 11-32).
