Description
Item notes : Wachsmann's original recording no.: 54.538. Performer notes : From available documentation: the iron hoop makes a kind of triangle sound. It was explained that 1-stringed fiddles were called 'shiriri' and had been brought by the Swahili and 2-stringed fiddles are 'limoi' and come from North Nyanza (the limoi is said to imitate the accordion).
