    Item notes : Wachsmann's original recording no.: 54.154. English translation of song lyrics from available documentation: "The county chief Ogwanguji ordered me to go to Buganda and said that he would give me a letter to Buganda" (in the old days one could not go to Buganda without a letter from the chief). Performer notes : From available documentation: one woman on medium sized drum with two sticks, another woman on small drum with one stick beating pulse. Dancing: a woman sits on the ground and jerks her head and body from the hips upwards as if possessed.
