Description
Item notes : Wachsmann's original recording no.: 54.35. Item notes : From available documentation: a song [male singer] about "Okutundira Bugangadzi Aba-Ganda" - to do with selling off Bugagandzi to the Baganda (recitation then yodelling). Bugangadzi is one of the so called 'lost counties', Buyaga being the other, which was taken back from Buganda but which Buganda continued to claim for years after (leading to the final dissolution of the kingdoms by the central government under Obote in 1966/7 so culturally it is a mixed area).
