Louie Fuller talks to John Howson about her family; songs that were passed down through her father's family; her mother who was Irish; her childhood in Woolwich, London; hop-picking in Kent; her father who tap-danced; singing in pubs around Copthorne; the songs she used to sing; no longer being allowed to sing Irish rebel songs; her London cousin who she is trying to trace; singing in Orchard Court (residential care home) in Lingfield; being invited to sing in folk club in London; singing on her own at home; singing with her husband's family in the hop gardens (where she met her husband); folk song collector Mike Yates' visit to record her for Topic Records; her appearance on TV.
