Abstract
At the Church they sing While shepherds watched to Winchester Old. Branscombe is still more of a village than Beer is. Mary Davey’s father moved to Beer in 1914 when he was 7. Her grandfather used to sing the Beer tune. Father was a gardener chauffeur who later became a bus driver.
