Tune: Forest Green, arranged by Ralph Vaughan Williams (1872-1958) from: The Ploughboy's dream [Roud Folk Song Index No. 1545], collected in December 1903 from Mr Garman of Forest Green, near Ockley, Surrey. Mr Garman also sang to the Rev. John Broadwood. Preceded by conversation.
