Abstract
Granny' Bryant talks about not having played accordion for two years. She also learnt concertina but ‘can’t play a note on them today’, also played mouth organ but since she had her false teeth she can’t play that either. Once visited by Karl Levi’s for his ‘discoveries’ programme, but she couldn’t play for nerves. Worked on farms all her life, wanted to be a nurse but mother wouldn’t let her. Never took part in Wassailing and didn’t have Ashen Faggots because they didn’t have big grates in their houses. Used to sing in the choir.
