  • Description

    Princess Magogo and Mangosuthu Buthelezi singing a umgqigqo dance song about cattle it sounds like a wedding song. The cow referred to in this song is a part of the ilobolo custom whereby the bride's father receives cattle from the groom in exchange for his daughter's hand in marriage. On the wedding day the father of the bride sends his daughter to the ceremony at the bridegroom's homestead with on cow which is called an ishoba.
