Description
This is a recording an extract of a solo guitar song played by the Congolese guitarist, Mwenda Jean Bosco. This recording is taken from a tape in Rycroft's collection labelled 'Guitar Talk Tape B' this recording is a dubbing of the original recording made in Jadotville town in the Katanga province of Congo (present day Democratic Republic of Congo). The recording was made by Hugh Tracey in 1952 and was later published (by Gallotone: GALLOTONE GB 1586 T).
