    Notes provided by Rycroft on tape box (these notes are copied word for word): Ashanti Royal Orchestra with 'Fontomfrom' drums (large cylindrical, stick-played); 'Atumpan' (as above but body covered with beaten gold); struck bell; and supporting drums. (Tape; drummed praises of King of Ashanti, the Asantahene). This recording includes an announcement by a man who seems to be an employee of the local cultural centre where this band is performing.
