    This is a copy of one of Rycroft's original field recordings. This tape is labelled 'Swazi choral songs'. A woman sings a solo part of a Swazi song. She is accompanied by a chorus of male and female voice. The song is The song has a call and response relationship between the solo and choral parts. It is a wedding song traditionally sung by the bridal party (ingoma yemtsimba). A Swazi woman describes the performance context of this song in detail.
