Item note: PCUG97.6.6: Sung solo to self accompaniment. Does not know many words. Reasonably competent on the instrument. Possibly performed twice. PCUG97.6.7: Song is about "Someone who is trying to locate himself, where he lives" - given in announcement to previous item. [starts at 2'50"]. Recording note: Recordings were made with a Sony DAT Walkman model TCD - D8 (kindly loaned by the School of Scottish Studies) machine and a matching single point stereo microphone (Sony ECM 959A which PC purchased shortly before his visit began). Recordist's note: NB. in Peter Cooke's notes this is: PCUG97.6.6-7 (pgm 07).
