    Recording note: Recordings were made with a Sony DAT Walkman model TCD - D8 (kindly loaned by the School of Scottish Studies) machine and a matching single point stereo microphone (Sony ECM 959A which PC purchased shortly before his visit began). Recordist's note: NB. in Peter Cooke's notes this is: PCUG97.1.20 [continued]. Performance note: Performed in answer to request to sing the words for the beginner's piece. but the phrasing is slightly different. Performer's note: James Awio of Orum, Otuke county, now livng around Lira.
