Performance note: Recorded while Peter Cooke makes video recording of the building of the log / pit xylophone embaire. Early on are sounds of the embaire staves being placed into position. Performer's note: Men and Children of Kawete village. Recording note: Mic is adjusted during this item, some wind noise also at times. Recorded at 3 3/4 ips after videoing has begun. Recordist's note: In Peter Cooke's notes, this is PCUG88.11.1.
