Description
Item note: Twa dance song. Traditional women's dance song. Performance note: Sung in Rutwa with handclapping. Notice harmony and canonic imitation. Performer's note: Batwa pygmies who visited the Rest house just as Obote was leaving. Nothing known about this group; they are now possibly settled some six or seven miles from Muko. Recording note: Recorded during a visit to Kigezi with President Obote's political tour. Recorded at 3 3/4 ips. Recordist's note: In Peter Cooke's notes, this is PCUG64-8.29.B.5 [announced as no. 20].
